Clinique Acne Solutions Kit

We have all been forced to face the dreaded "acne" attack at one point or another in our lives, but sometimes this problem can control our everyday routines. Whether it's a small, sudden blemish at the worst of times (the night before your prom, the morning of your wedding, or before that dreaded but extremely important job interview), or those stubborn cysts that seem to never go away. They are all unwelcome but we can't seem to avoid them. As a thirty-one year old woman, i thought i had bypassed my acne days but i now suffer from severe cystic acne as a result of a hormonal problem called Poly-cystic Ovarian Disease. AHHHH!  I have tried more remedies than i can count on my fingers, toes, and a few other people's! I tried Proactiv for some time and although it cleared my blemishes right up, it left me with extremely dry skin. (Those dreaded dry patches look even worse when we try to cover them with concealers and make-up) Rather than fixing the problem i felt i just went from one extreme to another. I recently decided to break down and purchase the 3-step Clinique Acne Solutions kit. Although this set does run in the higher price range of cleansers and treatments, i can personally say it is well worth the investment.

Step-1. Foaming Cleanser that comes in an easy to use pump  or you can can purchase the bar soap which i was told lasts considerably longer (and i believe was a few dollars cheaper as well). I went for the bar soap since i'm all about making my dollars last! The bar lathers nicely and has no yucky smells or texture. Both cleansers contain salicylic acid which help to fight acne causing bacteria.

Step-2.Clarifying Lotion is a toner type cleanser that cleans the dead skin cells and debris off your skin which are left after cleansing. It gives a warm tingle but doesn't sting like some formulas do.

Step-3. All-Over Clearing Treatment is a lotion which contains 2.5% benzoyl peroxide to help clear current blemishes and prevent future breakouts. It dries quickly and does not leave your skin oily or sticky! A huge plus for girls like me that have excessively oily skin naturally and don't need any extra.

Step-4. Emergency Gel Lotion is the main kicker in this system! It is not included in the priced 3-step system but for anyone who suffers from severe breakouts, i would highly suggest making the extra purchase. It contains 5% Benzoyl Peroxide and will make your blemishes disappear overnight, even those tough ones that seem to think they have purchased the property deed where they lie!!

The dual combination of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide make this one tough, acne fighting warrior! I have used this system of products for approximately 2 weeks now and can already see a huge difference in my skin! Yay! My complexion is brighter, clearer, and skin tone appears more even.
